About This Tool
Plan your stay: Weather in Iceland changes rapidly. Use this tool to find where the conditions are best and follow the weather.
Click on the green and yellow dots on the map to see the forecast in the best locations. You can also find a link to book accommodation there.
Filtering
- By Drive Time: Click "Enable Drive Time Filter," drag the marker
near a town, and select a duration. - By Drawn Area: Use the tools or to define a custom area on the map.
Search Modes:
- Range Search (Default): Select a date and time range to find locations with the best average weather.
- Best Hour Search: Use "Find Best Hour" to search for the best hour over the next several days.
By tuning the "Weather Preferences" you can define your own favorite weather. Use "Quick Presets" to search for nice weather, bad weather, or photography conditions.
