About This Tool
This tool helps you find the best weather conditions across Iceland.
Filtering
- By Drive Time: Click "Enable Drive Time Filter," drag the marker
near a town, and select a duration. - By Drawn Area: Use the tools or to define a custom area on the map.
Search Modes:
- Range Search (Default): Select a date and time range to find locations with the best average weather.
- Best Hour Search: Use "Find Best Hour" to search for the best hour over the next several days.
By tuning the "Weather Preferences" you can define your own favorite weather. Use "Quick Presets" to search for nice weather, bad weather, or photography conditions.
Filters and preferences apply to both search modes. Click any map marker for detailed forecasts. Grey markers are stations outside current results or without data.
